At Teijin (Thailand) Limited's polyester fiber manufacturing plant for clothing, interiors, and automobiles in Bang Pine, Ayutthaya Prefecture, we have a series of processes from planning design, procurement, construction, fuel procurement, maintenance, and operation management of thermoelectric supply equipment. We have started the operation of the thermoelectric supply business as an "on-site service" that handles all of our operations.
This project which reduces greenhouse gas emissions in Thailand by utilizing excellent low-carbon technology, was adopted by the Ministry of the Environment of Japan in 2018 as a "bilateral credit system * equipment subsidy project among financial support projects". It is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by about 18,000 tons annually.
* The Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) reduces greenhouse gas emissions in developing countries through the introduction of excellent low-carbon technologies and infrastructure, and quantifies Japan's contribution to the reduction. A system that is utilized to achieve the greenhouse gas reduction target in Japan by evaluating it in a positive manner.
